GNU time 1.7 ???

Hi ive set up a vps but cant run tmux due to time missing have spent nearly a day search how to install this :(   any help will be appreciated

vps running ubutu 13.10.64 bit mininstall

sudo dpkg -i time_1.7-24_amd64.deb
rm time_1.7-24_amd64.deb
