parseXXXSearchName should remove *all* known studios
« on: 2017-05-26, 09:21:13 AM »
Hi,

I'm analyzing the misses in xxx postprocessing. I see in the source (nzedb/XXX.php)  in function (parseXXXSearchName) that it filters out the Private Movies... Shouldn't it remove *all* known studios? (e.g. Evil Angel, White Ghetto, LethalHardcore, DevilsFilm, etc etc?)

I feel like there are a lot of misses in the lookups for valid stuff.....

S.

I added the following, now quite a lot more is found for name matching:

Code: [Select]
// Remove Other Studios {d} from name better matching.
$name = trim(preg_replace('/^(Girlfriends\s?Films|Digital\s?Sin|Wicked\s?Pictures|Evil\s?Angel|Harmony\s?Films|Purzel\s?Video|Elegant\s?Angel|Combat\s?Zone|Bang\s?Bros|Doghouse\s?Digital|Zero\s?Tolerance|New\s?Sensations|Digital\s?Playground|Third\s?World\s?Media|West\s?Coast\s?Prod|Jules\s?Jordan|Marc\s?Dorcel|Devils\s?Film|s\s?Film)/i', '', $name));

Regex you edited has nothing to do with company Private, but with private videos :)

Yeah maybe..... but the fact remains that if the title starts with the studio it won't find anything and now it does ;-)

I'm open to suggestions to a better place to deal with it.... ;-)
