Latest update gives "No connection defined"
« on: 2017-12-05, 07:23:41 PM »
Doing a new install.  Every page gives "no connection defined" on upgrade I get the same error on all pages and when the update scripts are running.  I saw a dev fix pushed to correct the problem a month ago but I'm still having the issue.

More info would probably help.
Running Ubuntu 16.04.03 LTS and php 7.0.22
No obvious errors in Apache Logs.

Resolved with latest push to Stable.  Updating should resolve your problem.

Initially, after the update to 8.2.1, mine still had the error message.
A reboot of the machine did not help.

I deleted my settings.php and copied settings.example.php to settings.php and restarted again. Message has now gone away.

I've made 3 fresh builds in a VM wtih Ubuntu 17.10 in the last 2 days, and have been seeing this error when trying to install each time. Unfortunately I've never been able to get the install past step 2.
