Support / IRCScraper won't work ... for me
« Last post by Higgins12 on 2018-02-14, 10:09:29 AM »
Hey Guys;
Sorry to have my first Post to be a Problem/Question
I can't get IRCScraper to work. It worked once, just in the beginning when I set the thing up, without ZNC until .. well I got banned from the Channel.  :'(
So i redid the whole IRCScraper setup, this Time with ZNC. The Setup so far looks good, including the Fingerprints. I can connect to the Channel via ZNC just fine. Although whenever something in the Channel is posted I get disconnected. With the following error in php_errors_cli.log

Code: [Select]
PHP Fatal error:  Uncaught Error: Call to a member function log() on null in /var/www/nZEDb/nzedb/IRCScraper.php:295
Stack trace:

#2 /var/www/nZEDb/nzedb/IRCScraper.php(193): nzedb\IRCClient->readIncoming()

#4 /var/www/nZEDb/misc/IRCScraper/scrape.php(50): nzedb\IRCScraper->__construct(false, true)
#5 {main}
  thrown in /var/www/nZEDb/nzedb/IRCScraper.php on line 295

I found a Post on Github with the same error, where the Guy dropped the PreDB Table and created it new, afterwards it worked again. I did the same but no Joy. Still same error. Did setup nZEDb completely new from scratch .. Error persists.

Any Ideas what I'm doing wrong?

/ Use the aforementioned CA bundle file to verify remote SSL certificates when connecting to a server using TLS/SSL.
define('nZEDb_SSL_VERIFY_PEER', '');      [took out the 1 ]
// Verify the host is who they say they are.
define('nZEDb_SSL_VERIFY_HOST', '');     [took out the 1 ]
// Allow self signed certificates. Note this does not work on CURL as CURL does not have this option.
define('nZEDb_SSL_ALLOW_SELF_SIGNED', '1');  [put the 1 in ]

and now seems to be working    ;D

I am just trying to get it to match everything and make anything a collection that it can.  I am working on something that might help to be similar to binsearch but these regex's are kicking my arse

. does mean anything, but you didn't say how many anythings!

You need a quantifier.

* means zero or more.

So, .* means zero or more of anything...

I ran "match_prefiles.php full show" and it renamed tons of perfectly named music to "Various.Artists. - .Smash.Hits.80s.Mixtape.[2017].[Mixtape]" and "Best.Of.Buddha.Beats".

Wish I would have caught your post before I did the same thing.  But it was worth a try!  I learn something new almost everyday.   :D   Try this to get the old searchnames back:

Code: [Select]
php '/var/www/nZEDb/misc/testing/Release/resetSearchname.php' reset

You, most likely, haven't run this command:

Code: [Select]
GRANT ALL ON nzedb.* TO 'YourMySQLUsername'@'YourMySQLServerHostName' IDENTIFIED BY 'SomePassword';
When all privileges are granted, reload is available

Ok, I restored my VM to a 2 days old backup and checked all releases for the predb_id's. I found only one. So the script messed it all up. It would be nice if it had a "dry run" option

Be careful when running it on all releases...

That is caused by MariaDB update. What version are you using? 5.5, 10.0, 10.1 or 10.2?
