Slow 'Poster Walls'

Hi,

Whenever I load the 'poster walls' from New Releases, it seems to take a very long time to actually load the page, sometimes into the 10+ minutes, other times inside a minute. Is there something going on in the background to build that page that my server should be doing in the background, or does anyone have an idea on why it might be taking so long to load?

I'm running on an Ubuntu server with 4GB RAM in a VMware image.
