Missing releases
« on: 2017-08-28, 12:39:33 pm »
Hi,

Lately my tracker have been missing quite a few releases. Episodes of certain "mainstream" TV shows, etc. have not been indexed.
When I check private trackers, I see them having multiple releases for different qualities of these episodes. They are also from groups that I am indexing like:

a.b.movies
a.b.bloaf
a.b.tv
a.b.multimedia

I have also checked the PreDB of the indexer, and the releases in question exist in the predb.

Is anyone else also experiencing this? Or could there be some other issues with my indexer?
I am currenctly using simple-expanded.sh , unmodified, for updating the tracker.

XML version: 0.7.4.0
Git version: 0.7.4.0
Looking up SQL patch version(s)
XML version: 482
 DB version: 482

Some examples below - This appears to be the way things are moving ahead, so any solution to this issue would be appreciated.

Last night my indexer only picked up one of six releases.  Checking some other sites, they appear to have them.  Their running newznab if it makes a difference.

Edit: Specific media content names removed.

Guys, please be careful posting content names in an open forum like this.

The guidelines of the subreddit /r/usenet are worth reading.

For this specific topic, try searching that subreddit for "free lunch".

Thanks for the suggestion

Read the posts on reddit, but still no clearer on how to "fix" these names so they're picked up by nZEDb properly.

Seems the only solution is to stop running your own indexer and pay for one of the main ones to get content, unless you know someone who knows how to "decrypt" the names

Not meaning to dredge this up again, but I am still having this issue.  Has there been any solution?  I have searched but not found anything.
